Hi I am planning on bankruptcy and have stopped the phone contracts for myself and my 2 children's phones, could someone please let me know the best payg deals out there that I can use we currently have o2 mobiles so anything o2 would be great so i dont have to unlock the phones.

    Define "the best".

Check Giffgaff and Tesco Mobile. A phone locked to O2 will work with both.

For minutes/texts only check Tesco Lite tariff.

Why not get the phones unlocked while you are with O2? AFAIK, unless it's iPhone, they do it for free and at any time.

Yes, the Giffgaff goodybags are almost like contract (but you buy them monthly from PAYG credit or by card). For £10 you would get 500 min, unlimited text and 1GB of internet IIRC.

If you were to go over the 500 minutes you would be charged at 10p per minute if you have credit (or not be able to make calls if you don't).

Remember if most of your calls and text are giffgaff to giffgaff (and hence free for 3month from a topup), then you might not need to buy a goodbag for everyone, just add some credit for those that don't call much.
