Hah! Thanks Maman you have just reminded me off a priceless moment at my wedding in the evening.
My friend is no fan of tights but wore then for the service. Come the evening she took them off and pulled them down over the face of some poor work college of my hubby's! If you can picture it, his face was trapped in the bum/crotch area ansd she was photographed holing the legs up in the air triumphantly like she had just bagged a tiger on a shoot!
Classy eh?!!!!Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
I'm early 50's and hate tights with a passion but have worn them to Winter Weddings. I'd go down the fake tan/ tinted moisturiser route. I found graduations to be less 'posh' than I expected.0

Tesco do some lovely sheer tights with a bit of a sheen to them, they're gorgeous on. The box has cerise bits on at the end if this helps.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

It's not so much the graduation, I have realised I am a bit tense about. I've actually been to quite a few. It's in security down r the fact I will be meeting my sons girlfriends mother for the first time!
She is younger, slimmer and more glam than I ever was. Apparently.
Not that son said so i, but her daughter is very pretty so I'm assuming she is too.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Aw don't worry you are still his Mum and that's all that matters.
Have a wonderful day.

i wear the primark sheer ones. i used to wear M&S until the feet on a lot of their tights became rather square - who has square feet?! the ankles would be baggy and the toes have lots of material at the sides.
definitely stick a spare pair in your bag, just in case0 -
Boots sell a product called Derma Blend, that will take care of any blemishes. It really is brilliant stuff.
And always tights, a lady is naked without them. lol.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
So , are we agreed that you can't wear open toe sandals with tights ?
I don't like the to else's tights, just weird so I am condemned to tights snd court shoes.
You can buy toeless tights in M and S, I wore them to my sons wedding with peep toe shoes.“Steal five dollars and you were a petty thief. Steal thousands of dollars and you were either a government or a hero.”

I've got to say, those Asda fine tights £4 for two pairs are lovely! I wearing them this evening and trying to get used to heels again. It's a bit of a lost art! The tights look great so thanks for that.
I feel so tall, normally a out five eight in my bare feet but I see the world from a different perspective up here!Norn Iron Club member 4730
