Overcharged for purchase

Don't feed the troll0

I once wrote a snotty letter to Tesco's having bought a 9 pack of toilet rolls which were on BOGOF (hmm, no pun intended), so bought two and was charged for two.
Tesco store manager sent me a package back, containing no, not the missing toilet rolls, but a folded up enormous special offer sign saying that they were 3 for the price of two.
Did I feel a dope!?
Not quite sure how relevant to this threat it is - but customers make mistakes as well!
You mean to say you didn't jump on the defensive and accuse them of changing the posters after your letter

Or maybe I should involve the police, both for fraud and perverting the course of justice by altering the evidence.
Not sure I could retrieve the original toilet roll though, would that evidence be required?0 -
Troll or not, I'll give you 1 pound compensation.
Pm me your mailing address and I will get this sent out as soon as possible.
This is under the explicit instructions that you never post such a thread ever again. You agree to pay me the pound (plus postage costs incurred) if you post any future thread (on any forum) about a claim for an amount which is below 1 pound and a penny (1.01)0 -
