Interesting thread, as an aside a 'meet and greet' is something you can buy, I used to be on the ticket line and for a ridiculously souped up price you could buy the meet and greet ticket.0 -

Im positive they wont be bothered in the slightest if people dont enter their promotions again!.
What they are saying is that they do not want the professional comper entering and imho quite rightly so!.
Just as facebook like and shares do not equate into brand loyalty neither do people who enter for anything and everything and ruin a promoters well intended campaign, as has happened here!!!.
I personally know of several promoters on fb who discard L&S entries and indeed any entries from people with the word "comp", "prize winner" and other similar names in their title along with people who insist on putting "MSE" in between their fb name as this identifies them as one of the above.SallyHarrison666 wrote: »Received a cheque today for £200 from News International, must be from the Sun comp details posted here,so many thanks to op

Also totally baffled as to the term 'professional comper'. Absolute tosh.
I work full time - 9am-6pm. (Legal secretary.) I also enter a LOT of competitions and I only really use twitter for comps. I am a real person lol! I just try to fill the quiet times at work, on my commute or at home with something fun and maybe productive. I've had a handful of rather feeble wins this year after entering THOUSANDS of competitions over the last six months. I don't even use Roboform. I fill out by hand (or let google try to attempt to fill out a line as I type which mostly is rubbish).
Am I a 'professional comper'? Why?! Stupid definitions and I really don't like being placed in a box/labelled.
Utterly ridiculous. How many comps am I 'allowed' to enter before I become a 'professional'?
Somebody doesn't know what the eff they're talking about. Grrr.
Jx2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Who knows
Plenty more comps to enter
