Annoying as I was entering by their rafflecopter daily - wasted my precious time! I also won't be entering any more of their comps in future as I think their excuse for cancelling the comp after it had been running for so long was feeble!

They seem to think it will not happen on Facebook, I think they may be in for a surprise.

I was one of the first to enter that one, huge amount of entries too.

I'm not sure what they are hoping to achieve by only posting their comps on FB.

Anyone who has a FB account can like them & enter them.

The only difference is people will have to like them to enter & not just say they have liked them & enter anyway

I agree - and some people will already have, or open, multiple Facebook accounts or will use family member accounts to gain more entries. I was like you Luckyone - entered from when the comp first started and they waited until it had almost finished to tell us it had been cancelled! I was really annoyed!

Then thought blimey all those new followers on FB & TW went to look for them & the numbers didn't add up to any where near the amout of people who said had entered :eek:

It does make you wonder though, what RC prize would it take for people to enter the RC correctly?

The prize was a Surface 2 & apparently that was not a good enough prize to enter correctly :eek:

The people who entered wrongly deserve it, the people who did enter correctly don't

I thought bloggers/companies could view a spreadsheet from a rafflecopter showing entrants IP addresses so they could spot cheaters?

gholmes724 are you a blogger? Or I wonder if there are any bloggers who could tell us - can cheats be caught out? I'm sure I read somewhere that you cannot cheat a rafflecopter? I have seen a few bloggers comment that they had to re-draw as the original winner had said they had completed each each entry option but hadn't!

You can see everything they did or didn't do with rafflecopter. I check the winners entries, if they don't come up to scratch I pick another.

What makes me laugh is people who say they will check *every* entry and disqualify the cheaters, big waste of time, all you need to do is check the winner and if it's a cheater pick another.

My reading of it was he didn't want 'compers' entering and had thrown a hissy fit because some had and that's why he cancelled the comp.

I don't think he's actually allowed to do that.

I thought it was not legal to discriminate against any group of people I.E compers?

I don't think you're supposed to cancel competitions you have already advertised either.
