  • Hi, I opened a TSB classic plus account on the 14th September meeting all the requirements. Should I have received my monthly interest today?

    I phoned up TSB and they said the cut off date is the 11th of the month and since I opened my account after that date I wont be due interest until 1st Nov, is that correct as it doesn't sound right to me.

    No. It will be tomorrow

    It appears on the second working day of the month, dated the day before.

    You'll get interest from when you opened the account, but not paid until November, so about 47 days worth.

    If you open the maximum 3 accounts with TSB (one joint) would you be able to do a monthly saver with each.

    What do the TSB Monthly Saver T&Cs say? (hint: you want clause 1.2)

    Not sure if this is technically the correct thread, but what's the score with the TSB contactless cashback?

    I've been using contactless as much as possible since the beginning of September but so far in October all I've received is the £6-odd interest for max'ing out the 2k balance limit in the current account.

    I thought the cashback for contactless was going to be paid monthly?

    Supposed to be paid first working day of following month (so 1 Oct) but apparently delays due to being new launch etc so will now be paid by the end of October for September's cash back (or so I've been told!).
  • Hi All,
    I have read this whole thread and ask can someone check what I plan to do;

    My main account is with Santander 123, £1500 leaves Santander pays TSB leaves TSB pays Nationwide leaves Nationwide pays Bank of Scotland 1 leaves pays BofS 2 leaves Pays BoS 3 leaves to pay Club Lloyds leaves to pay Santander.

    The above would be done in one day, by faster payments.

    The only part I don't quite understand is the 2 direct debits for Lloyds. Can I set up any amount to be pulled from Lloyds using my Tesco Current Account & then same again using my second Tesco account?

    Does it have to be Tesco? Can I do this from Santander?
    Or is it only Tesco that it would show up as a Direct Debit with Lloyds.

    Please advise if the above is correct - any tweaking?

    Thanks
