Insurance replaced phone - subsequent issue
I had a Nokia 920 replaced under insurance (cracked screen – unable to repair) in August last year. The handset has now developed what appears to be a hardware issue (intermittently not reading SIM, randomly powering off). I have tried resets, different SIM's etc, the experience is consistent.
I'm now 18 months in to my contract, I still have my mobile insurance (First directory), however this excludes "mechanical failure".
Where is my point of contact? The insurance company that provided the handset (as its under 1 year old) or should I use the manufacturers warranty and sent it to a Nokia repair center?
