I'm a great believer in lists. Having a list saves wasting energy trying to remember all the tasks you need to do!:D Also, if you can try build in rest periods, or at least intersperse sitting-down tasks between the others, that'll help, too. I know just how you feel - I have lupus, which is also very painful and extremely debilitating, and like you, I hate having it.
Oh gosh, I've heard that lupus is really painful. It must be awful for you Since finding this site, I have been doing a lot of resting / reading up on things Since finding this site, I have been doing a lot of resting / reading up on things ) and I do like the idea of lists - not that I always get them completed ) and I do like the idea of lists - not that I always get them completed Crossing things off the list helps me feel like I have accomplished something. Evening all (for a change).
This week work has taken me to the glorious island of Islay and the weather has been so hot, blue blue skies with no clouds in sight. Sometimes my work is just rubbish and other times I get to visit such beautiful places. After I did my piece of work I used the afternoon to visit five malt whisky distilleries on Islay and one on Jura. . Still got some more work tomorrow and then three more distilleries to go before my ferry home. . Still got some more work tomorrow and then three more distilleries to go before my ferry home.
Have to say that I have done nothing OS on this trip. Work are paying for travel, hotel and food (maybe that scraps under the OS wire?) but I've bought some malt whisky related presents for family.
Hope the rest of the day is good for everyone.0

Make sure you make a new list each day instead of just making a longer list with just a few things crossed off. I have arthritis and I do things in 15 minute sections with a 15 minute break in between. I don't feel guilty about having so many rests, it gets much more done than if I half kill myself trying to do the first five things on the list one after another.0

I too make a new list each day. I put everything down such as unload dishwasher, load dishwasher etc., as even doing one of these is a major achievement.
Also, my timer is my friend. When I am bad, I can manage about 5 minutes with a half hour rest, but so be it.
Being kind to yourself is important and not berating yourself.
Also, I try and prepare dinner earlier in the day when I have more energy.
Hugs to all who are struggling.
