    Hi everyone,

I'm another feeling very achey at the moment. We walked round London Zoo on Saturday (and from King's X to Regent's Park and I found it very hard work.

I'm waiting for DD to let me know that she is back from Glastonbury safely, I'm sure that I'd have heard if she hadn't but I do like confirmation.

I've got a busy few days ahead because we're going up to Yorkshire on Wednesday night as we're having guests coming to watch the start of the Tour de France. I need to get the house clean and sort the packing and I have a course tomorrow morning.

    Have a good day everyone.

Jlhmd, as a fellow fibro, please don't overdo it with the housework. I know how hard it is when you see everything that needs doing but cannot do it all. I too have a list that i like to tick things off, although days do slip if I wake up with the dreaded fibro headaches and rib pain. (Hope you don't mind me saying this, but I overdid it a couple of weeks ago, and was totally whacked all last week, just had to sit most of the week.)

Thanks :) I am really trying to get the house back up to scratch as it has become neglected since my diagnosis :o I overdid things last week and MIL ended up taking the brood as I didn't even have the energy to cook that night :o

I think, if I do small things and try and tick them off the list, the jobs won't seem so big and daunting. I hate having this though. I am so exhausted a lot of the time and my whole body just has this heavy ache. The house really does need sorting though :o

    I hope you're feeling better now :)

    Good afternoon everyone

Sorry I've been MIA for a while as I had let the big black dog in to come and squish me and I have been quite ill. I'm feeling a lot better now though so I thought I would post.

I have given up on weightwatchers and slimfast now lol....not a great shocker really! I have, however, joined slimming world online and it's all new to me so it's giving me something to focus on and hopefully I will lose some weight and feel a bit better about myself. I think there is a lady on here that is doing SW, any hints or tips would be fab :D.

The house has gone to rack and ruin whilst I've been poorly but I can only do little bits at the mo. My girls will help me after school, they only moan a little bit :rotfl:. I can manage to make tea for us all and of course it has to be very healthy. Tonights offering is bacon and spinach spaghetti. I'll use the very low fat creme fraiche as the sauce but everyone likes it. I'm still full from my cooked breakfast so will just have a snack to keep me going this afternoon.

Hope everyone is ok, take care xx.

I'm a great believer in lists. Having a list saves wasting energy trying to remember all the tasks you need to do!:D Also, if you can try build in rest periods, or at least intersperse sitting-down tasks between the others, that'll help, too. I know just how you feel - I have lupus, which is also very painful and extremely debilitating, and like you, I hate having it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

Started off lovely and bright this morning but rainy this afternoon. It was supposed to be the schools sports day this afternoon but the heavens opened just before the start so it has been postponed. I stayed behind and helped to put up the gazebo and got soaking wet. Waterproof jacket didn't work very well!

Sistercas - Hope the mouth is feeling better.

Dumpling - Glad you are feeling better.

    Afternoon all
I'm having an early night, I got 3 hours sleep last night & I've worked 9 hour day on my feet.
I did pasta for tea as we needed something fast & easy, I've done enough for my lunch tomorrow, so that's another job sorted.
    Have a good evening everyone
    Hugs Hester
