I am getting increasingly irritated by some of these horrible images appearing in front of me on my Facebook page- had one this morning and its bugging me too. I tend to assume they are fake and don't click on them but I am not happy about so called friends feeling the need to disseminate this stuff on so I can't avoid them. Its just yuk. I think I will start defriending people who do post this kind of thing. I'm sure they won't care but it will help me.0

Same here. I had a friend on there who kept posting pics of nasty things done to animals. (Animal rights protester.) I am upset that people do nasty things to animals, but I don't want to keep seeing this.
I haven't seen the thing that the OP is referring to BTW. (Thankfully!)You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I know exactly how OP feels. The breast image is particularly persistent/enduring.
I knew straight away it would be a hoax (but still had to check online to confirm it was), but the imagine kept popping back in to my head frequently for several days afterwards and giving me goose bumps/shivers.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
This is one of the reasons I don't have Facebook! I couldn't be on with all the crap that is posted.0

I haven't seen the pictures in question, but I've seen a post about the hoax and that it works like this: it says "I bet you won't believe this" or something similar. When you click to open it, you have to share it to people on your friends list before you're allowed to open it. Once that's done, it leaves the hoaxers/scammers able to hack accounts.
Whether any of the above is true, I don't know. I don't open posts that don't look genuine, and I don't allow for any forced "shares".0 -
Wow, I feel lucky to have never seen anything like this on Facebook! No one on my friends list really seems to share or forward things and I am glad if this is the kind of thing that floats around!0

OP - this sounds like trypophobia.
the problem with researching it online is that the pictures come up. If you could get someone to open up a text only article have a read of that.0 -

My husband has this. I am literally not allowed crumpets in the house. If I pick them up in the supermarket he freaks out.0 -
I'm so glad it's not just me that is freaked out by those pics. I know they're not real but I've found myself really affected by them.0

I have a friend on facebook who has been having panic attacks over it.
She too is now finding she has itchy sore breasts and despite knowing nothing is there she feels it!
She was a bit gullible at first and assumed it was real and spent the weekend ill over it!
She suffers with anxiety and this has done her no favours at all, knowing its false has helped but still she is freaked out about it - your not alone!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
