Scrolling banner of ebay items for website? Possible?

Just wondered if this was possible - can I make some sort of scrolling banner for my website to show (some of) my eBay items?

No worries, I have found Auction Nudge if anyone else is interested. It scrolls through all my listings, slowing them on the home page of my website and you can click the image to take you to the auction. I;ve been playing around this afternoon, seems to work just fine.

Do you really want to send them to Ebay? If you can sell through your site directly you save on fees and buyers will still have Paypal protection. You can paste code into your site using Paypal buttons

Yes, the amount of hits I get on my website is just pathetic and that is why I am on eBay. My industry is such that I am a miniscule fish in a massive ocean and it shows. I always did well on clearance until they bought in the requirement of having paid ads. My sales literally stopped overnight when Ads came in so, after 2 months of selling nothing I decided to go back to eBay - and I have not looked back.

The sales I have on eBay far, far outweigh what I ever did on my site, and if someone comes to me and sees I have something in my eBay store in a different colour for half the price then hopefully they will go via eBay.

I have had some ranges on my website and not a single sale at a low price - I put on them on eBay, raised the price to cover the fees and they sold out within a few days.

Whatever people think of eBay, it works for me. I'd rather pay eBay for continued visbility than Google with their cost per click and then turning your ad off when your daily credit runs out. No thanks. Paying eBay 4p a month, per item, suits me just fine.

Clearly Ebay is working well for you, but want to encourage sales through your site. If people come to your site even in small numbers any of those making a purchase directly will save you Ebay fees.

I would be sure to send info on your web site in with anything you sell on Ebay and perhaps a small discount if they make a repeat order through your web site.

It can be difficult to build up traffic to your site but that should be your long term aim.

I have been selling online for 12+ years now and, trust me, I have been trying to generate traffic to my site for years.

eBay, however, is global and a massive platform. Everyone who buys from me on eBay gets to know about my site. People do not want full price things, they want cheaper things. The prices I sell for cover my fees, if people buy via Facebook (for example) they get the cheaper so I do have a Facebook page too. Everyone who buys via eBay is given a code to use to save more money on the website.

I do understand though, I did not sell on eBay for about 4 years, but once eBay ads came in my site was turned off overnight. They are only interested in the people who want to pay them money. And I am not interested in CPC for the items I sell, the ranges are too fast, I need too many keywords and it would not be worth it.

I have around 1500 items on eBay and the same amount on my website. CPC is not for me.

You'd be better off using Ebay Partner Network and actually getting paid by Ebay for sending customers there rather than using a third party that gets the affiliate payment.
Partner Network is as easy or as difficult as you need it to be.
