I've never been keen on armchairs, I think the arms take up too much space and you can't curl up and be comfy in them. I'd prefer a 2-seater and a 3-seater to a 3-piece suite.
I think here the best option might be two 2-seaters..... I really don't know. It'll come to me at some point
Of course, all I need is one sofa for me 99.99% of the time.0 -

I like two two seaters.
In the cheese room I tend to sit in an arm chair though, but in an unladylike like fashion because I have to keep my legs up as much as possible.0 -
DD was doing a paid internship in Finland at the time of her graduation. Since she won't fly, she had to take best part of a week off to come back - it's 2 to 3 days each way by train. As of this September, the ferry Esbjerg/Harwich will no longer run, so that's another route blocked.
That's a shame, I have fond memories of using that route. Plus of course the Danish train network serving it is really good. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

The sofa isn't a true corner sofa, it's a three seater with an integral chaise lounge (I think that's the right word anyway) on one side, hence the corner is the best bit at it allows slouching, although I found pretty quickly by trial and error it is difficult to eat your dinner with your feet up and not chuck it all over yourself.0

I'd like a corner sofa.... I am sitting here now looking at the corner it would be great in, but a corner sofa would swamp the entire room ...
My last place layout was dictated by the odd structural uprights and the location of the TV aerial socket. I'd have liked to have had the sofa by the patio door, but there was only one side it could have gone and then the telly would have been behind the sofa
In a big room of, say, 15'x15', you are at the size where you can probably start to position stuff where you'd actually like it.
I have the same problems with a corner sofa, I do have corners that could be used (ish) but the room size is not the biggest and it would just dominate the room and make it feel that much smaller. Blimey, even a 3 piece suite made it feel smaller, so I just have two two seaters in a not overly large or foofy (a word youngest says for pumped up or bouncy) style or a smallish 3 seater and a 2 seater...but that is quite squished. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I've got a 3+2+1 arrangement (I think I posted photo of my living room the other week), purely because our lounge is long and thin.
The chair is OH's in our house (she made that perfectly clear when we moved in), for not too dissimilar reasons to you LiR.
We're going back to the village this afternoon, so I probably won't have internet connection the next few days, or at least nowhere near as good as I have here, so if I'm not around, speak on Thursday💙💛 💔0 -
I have a 2-3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs. Think I'll eventually replace the sofa with something the same size and maybe get a couple of 1.5 seaters.
Eventually!
I'm sure I'll have changed my mind plenty of times before I get round to that/ have saved up.0 -
