Vodafone - Complete Disaster!
I have 2 lines with Vodafone one being mine and one being my sisters.
I took out my first line with them in January for £33 a month but due to circumstances I was able to have a 20% discount bringing my monthly charge down to £26.40.
Last month I ported my old number over and this is where things just go haywire!
My bill for the 27th May ( the bill before the port happened) was somehow was showing a balance of £20.20 however this was a mistake as the discount had not been applied the month previous when it should have so they credited me and it was supposed to come down to £15.40..... A direct debit was due to come out on the 3rd of June but they attempted to take no money for this month. Vodafone said this was normal due to the ported number and the next bill will be sorted.
So, here comes the bill for 26th June (also the first to include my 2nd line as well as my ported number)....
Original number :
Credit Your price plan
29 May to 23 Jun cr£19.00
Credit 300 mins to 0800, 0845 & 0870
29 May to 23 Jun cr£1.80
Credit Extra1GB mobile internet
29 May to 23 Jun cr£4.32
Total for cr£25.12
This would be cr£30.14 including VAT
Ported Number :
Your price plan *inc prorating*
29 May to 23 Jul £51.24
Discount on Y8 24A ST 600M UTX 500MB *inc prorating*
29 May to 23 Jul cr£10.25
Extra1GB mobile internet *inc prorating*
29 May to 23 Jun £4.32
300 mins to 0800, 0845 & 0870 *inc prorating*
29 May to 23 Jun £1.80
Total for £47.11
This would be £56.53 including VAT
The new line is OK as I knew this was supposed to be higher.
However, this bill also has a page which says :
Balance from last bill
£20.20
Adjustments
cr£21.75
Credit balance
cr £1.55
This clearly goes with what the live chat advisor told me ; there was no payment on the 3rd of June because there had been some credit applied which was higher than the owed amount.
I think the whole bill is a complete shambles ; confusing and can't work out why there is a double charge for my ported number.
Any help at all will be appreciated!
Thank you
