  • Ok so I have now typed up my resignation letter for the hospital and have decided that although I currently work 23.5 hours @£7.25 per hour I will tell my mum that I only want to work 16 hours @ £6.50 which will mean that I qualify for working tax still and hopefully a tiny bit more housing and council tax help than what I am currently receiving.
Will this make any difference to the OR as far as an IPA rather than what I am taking home now, or is it just a case of they leave you with £20 a month and the rest goes to the OR for 3 years regardless?

Hi, hopefully you won't get an IPA on such a modest wage but if you have more than £20 surplus, they don't leave you with the £20 they take the whole lot

it might be an idea to put your SOA up in here before you submit it, there might be expenses you have forgotten about that you need to budget for!

Ouch..... I didn't realise they take everything, I was thinking a crisp £20 note per month was bad enough lol.... Oh happy days, I think I am well and truely done then as now that the hp car has gone back, I am already surplus £170 lol
Eh.... let them take my last: £20 see if I care:D

Fill in your details on here http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php and choose format for mse. Don't worry about putting your debts or debt payments on, it's just your day to day living costs so we can make sure you are not leaving yourself short!

Don't know if its too late but I wouldn't sign anything!! what's the worst they can do - threaten you with BR!!
Any bill should fall into your BR shouldn't it?
  • All I know is I deffo cannot pay anything today as stated in the last minute phone call, the man said I should of had this explained to me, although they did say the vehicle would be checked and any damage would need to be paid, they NEVER stated it would need to be done on the day!!!!

They should be a creditor like everyone else. Don't pay and don't sign...Its only going back because they don't want BR's isn't it? they cant end the contract and have the money. As I said - don't pay and don't sign.
  • Car gone now, charged £180 for 4 scuffed alloys, tiniest of scrapes too.. however missed the dent on the sill pmsl hahaha! oh well karma I suppose for trying to get out of it!
Thought it better to sign as dont want them slapping even bigger bill on me if they notice the dent later or they do any damage themselves.
