Can you tell if a Win7 product key is a manufacturers volume license?

Hi all, I have a desktop PC which is missing it's COA sticker - I have recovered the current product key using key finding software.
Is it possible to determine if this product key is a generic volume licensing key used by the manufacturer (which wouldn't work on a re-installation), or a "proper" OEM product key which can be used to reinstall the OS?
Sorry if the terminology above is wrong - I'm not the most technically minded person!

I don't know the answer to the question but have you got the OEM discs which will permit a re-install and will use the volume licence ?0

The PID checker gives the following (edited by me) :
Product Key : REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS
Validity : Valid
Product ID : XXXXX-OEM-REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS
Activation ID : REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS
Edition Type : HomePremium
Description : Windows 7 Home Premium OEM:NONSLP
Edition ID : X15-37356
Key Type : OEM:NONSLP
Crypto ID : 174
The brand is Zoostorm and the model is 7872-1036/A - the above result looks positive to me, - your thoughts?0 -
It's an OEM. You just need the media to reinstall. You can download this for free. Just burn it to CD and reinstall after you note down the key.

Just pick the right one. 64 bit is a good choice.0 -
Just install it. If the internet activation fails - use the automated telephone line. Always works.0

Across the family we have several Dell and Samsung machines and over many re-installs always use an OEM system disk and the machines have a windows licence key different from the sticker automatically assigned with no problems.0
