It is funny to read some of them..
I read one that said "the buyer can wash them themselves"
Its bad on the people genuinely selling well worn items of clothing and footwear..
Hmmm...And who do you actually think the buyers are of these 'genuine' sellers with above mentioned items?

lol, no, but i'll pretend to be one if someones gonna be daft enough to pay for my used shoes ans socks!i clicked on the trainer link and sent the seller a message (through ebay), told him that his pending sale was attracting attention(!) and that i wished him luck, recieved a message back from him saying " bless you child".0

just a word of warning-while this may seem amusing, I think you will find that some of these buyers are not quite on the straight and narrow.
THere was a thread about this a while ago, and people were having a good chortle about it until someone posted about the pervert that she had come across who actually finds this sort of thing stimulating, if you know what I mean.
So before you rush to sell your knackered old trainers or other footwear, just stop for a second and question whether you want some wierdo getting his kicks over your footwear, when they know your address and can probably tell whether you have kids etc from your feedback (ie what you have bought and sold in the past).
Certainly not a risk I would take for a few pounds.“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
What risks do you see? Seems pretty simple to me; they have a thing for worn footwear.Happy chappy0

Depends by what you mean by your euphemism 'have a thing for'.
I personally wouldnt like the thought of a man sniffing my shoes, looking at the footprint my foot has made, etc etc to obtain sexual satisfaction. Go and find the old thread, read it through, and then put your self in the shoes (no pun intended) of a mother of young children.
I certainly wouldnt feel comfortable with someone buying these things with a sexual purpose knowing my address and background.“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
