Free PDF creator?

I am using Office 2007 (I think) and I need a free (or very cheap) PDF creator. I am on Window 8.1.

Can someone point me in the right direction for one please.

Many thanks.

Type your docs in word then use primo pdf, free download, it installs as a virtual printer, all you do when doc is done is to print, changing your normal printer to the primo pdf printer and it will them make the pdf and you save in your docs.

Office 2007 allows you to create pdfs from within it.
    Download and install this

    To install this download:
    1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
    2. Double-click the SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
    3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
    Instructions for use:

After you install this download open the document you want to publish and then, depending on the program you are using, select Save or Publish to PDF or XPS from the Office or File menu.

There are numerous ones out there, for example novapdf and cutepdf, but you don't need them in Office 2007 if you want an entire document as a pdf - just select "Save As" then change the file type to pdf

I am sorry I should have explained more - I am using Sage and want to save invoices which I sent to my customer by email.

On the old computer there was an option to 'print' and then it would save it as a PDF but this option no longer appears on my print screen and I cannot save it in any format where the receipitant will read it which is frustrating.

I thought if I had a PDF program when I printed off the invoice it would just open as a PDF which I could save and send to my customer.

    Thanks again.

I have tried this and it is not working which is why i thought I needed a PDF program. I can 'save it' but when I try and select it to send the my customer it is not there.

I am using Sage Instant Accounts and used to be able to send them by email by selecting the email option, the email is set up correctly to send myself a test email but it will not send the customer an invoice.

You will need a PDF printer. Install this Bulsip PDF printer for free.

In general anything you could print in hard copies, so not just word document bu also, images, websites, etc could be printed in PDF.

I have been using the free version for ages and happy with that. Google it you will find that this is ine of the best PDF printer available for free. The best one as certainly Adobe professional but it will cost you a fortune.

    Hope this

You should be able to save to PDF from within Sage Instant Accounts without installing anything else.

When printing an invoice (or any other report) the Report Browser window will come up, letting you select the appropriate template. Click the File icon and you can save as a PDF.

I would swear by PDF Creator - http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
Beware of imposter websites there are loads and some are clever.
PDF Creator is genuinely free as opposed to free with catches.
It comes bundles with PDF Architect these days. The trick is to turn off "open with PDF Architect" when you generate the PDF.
It behaves just like a real printer but at the last moment allows you to save as PDF instead of sending to printer. So anything can be saved as a PDF.
The bundled PDF Architect can be useful standalone as allowing you to merge multiple PDFs into one.
