Phoning to cancel worked a treat

I've been following links from MSE to research cheapest unlimited deals recently. We have been with John Lewis Broadband for the last 11 months, we had a 6 month free deal with them so made it good value and their line rental is only £13.50 pm; we needed to go onto unlimited though as 20Gb not enough. Phoned them to cancel and lo and behold we were offered a 12 month half price unlimited deal i.e. £9 pm. As this includes evening and weekend calls we thought this was a pretty good deal, not many include evenings anymore. Have to say their customer service is excellent, and although we are very rural so no high speeds for us, we get just as good speed as when we were in a town and on Virgin so called high speed. :money:

I didn't know JL were into broadband! are they rebranded version of another ISP?
Standard B/b (unlimited) for them is £18/month, plus £13.50 line rental.. seems a bit steep, compared to others (who for similar price, are doing tv as well!)Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
