So if dad gets divorced he might want to come back to UK and live in the house which he co-owns?!
This could force you all to sit down and discuss a way forward, which looks very much like selling the house and going your separate ways.
I guess the property must be of substantial value since you say there would be enough equity when split 3 ways, for you each to get your own house.0 -

Dad might do that, it's a possibility, but he does have a lot of other family members and friends where he's living so he may want to remain abroad.
If the equity from the house was split 3 ways it might be enough to put deposits down on small houses or flats for each of us, but not actually to buy them outright, we would have lengthy mortgages to deal with. First we'd need to be in a position to obtain a mortgage to begin with, and I'm not in such a position at the moment.0
