  • Forgot to mention that I didn't buy a bottle of wine tonight so £5.00 towards my $1000/£600 and I made £15 from Ca*h for Cl*thes and I have £1 left in my purse today so am not going to use it today or tomorrow as I have another full day at work (have been asked to work longer tomorrow as we are short staffed) think of the money I keep telling myself.

Very pleased with my self and am going to bed now, night, night, sleep tight everyone:shhh:

Hectic day at work, but all over for a couple of days :T have two of the grandchildren tomorrow which is lovely and keeps us on our toes.

Just had my fix of Dave Ramsey, to be honest he got on my nerves a bit tonight, don't know if its because I'm tired or just a grumpy granny but sometimes he irritates me:mad: but i keep watching or listening because he does make sense perhaps the truth hurts.

One thing he said was to set goals, mine is to be debt free obviously but to teach my DGS to be good with money and generous (he struggles a bit with that one, although he is only nine I think it might come from his father :rotfl:

One thing I have done is to stop drinking wine at home (its only been three days now but that is good for me and saving me about a fiver a night as I couldn't only have one glass, it would be two and then "Oh where has that bottle gone" so that helps, I am sitting here like an angel :A drinking water, good girl Nanny.

This week end I am going away with my best friend and its all paid for of course by the dreaded CC (booked before I saw the light) any way she is always skint too so we do frugel weekends away and thoughly enjoy them getting any freebies where we can and nicking the fruit from the breakfast so we have something to eat during the day (naughty).

    Waffle over

Quote for the day from Dave Ramsey

"Your the problem and Your the solution" so true.

Have a lovely Sunday night and a positive and money saving Monday.

Catch you tomorrow if anyone if watching

  • Just wanted to ask some advice, have just sold a couple of things on E*ay and not sure about the posting, do I have to do it through them or can I just take it the the PO and get the cheapest I can get and one person has bought a top from me from Australia, I have said that I will investigate the price but do I have to sell it to them if it is too much?

    Morning nannytomany,

take it to the postoffice & get the cheapest you can get hun also get a receipt so you have proof of postage just incase...p.s congratulations on your sales....If they are overeas they will need to pay the overseas postage, thats been my experience, you can check the cost and contact the buyer updating the postage by sending them an invoice (which covers costs of posting outside of the uk...its in the tools listing (i think) I hope this helps...Have a fab day x
