I hope the baby makes it's appearance in good time! I'm sure everything will just fall into place when it does :D

    Hope so Becky!!!

Doing well on my £25 and got £21.60 left from it and no real plans this week as only 9 days left until my due date so think I am going to spend more time at home this week as pretty uncomfortable and knackered anyway! :o

Do need to do a food shop so will prob do that tomorrow, I might have to get OH to come with me though as need some cans of stuff but I can't trust him to go food shopping because he doesn't like food so he gets the wrong stuff even if I give him a list! :rotfl:

I have had one day of "nesting" but not really wanting to clean every inch of my house mainly because there is so much that needs doing. Will do more this week though, mainly out of boredom...lol

Trying not to stress that the house will no-way be ready to put up for sale in a year when I know how much progress has been made in 4 years of being with OH, having a young baby is only going to delay matters.... shame my OH is sooo tight and won't let professionals do anything!! :o

Topped up my car with fuel Tuesday, get about 570 miles out of a tank so hopefully will last a while.

Right new week, 8 days until my due date!!!

After posting yesterday I ended up spending some more money...:o
had pregnancy yoga yesterday and didn't get home until 9pm so was starving, so sent OH down the road to get a burger for dinner! :o

So now have £15.50 left as he got some food too.

Plus I have just ordered myself a back pack to use as a changing bag for baby which cost £23 including delivery.

Plans for this week are too......

    • Clean bathroom (task for today)
    • Buy some central heating system flush so OH can take living room radiator off wall and paint behind it - we only have one radiator in the living room at minute so want this sorted before baby arrives incase weather suddenly turns!
    • Buy some more grout for OH to finish grouting in kitchen
    • Get OH to fit bath panel.
    • Wash our bedding (another task for today)
    • Hoover upstairs
    • Clean out fridge (another task for today before we fill it with food!)
    • Do some more batch cooking (vegetarian food for OH's daughter) and look up some recipes for easy things to cook and freeze.
    • Clean Kitchen
And I am sure I can keep adding to this list....

Think I am going to pop to The Range as well today as want to look for a waste bin for our room and DSDs room and want some kitchen utensils too.

Time to get dressed and get going I think!!! :)

Went out and ended up going out for nearly 3 hours which scuppered some of todays plans as I am exhausted now but I did get the radiator inhibitor we needed.

Went to Lidl as well and got a few bits but to be honest I am not convinced its that much cheaper than anywhere else for some items, got some branston baked beans for £1.25 for a pack of 4 so got two of those as we have a fair amount of baked beans and some other tinned stuff.

I am going to start a spreadsheet of stuff we buy and start comparing prices to see if its worth trips to certain places.

Went to the range and remembered how rubbish it is in there, its ok if you want to buy loads of soft furnishing but I couldn't get some of the stuff I wanted, its the nearest household type shop to me though and I am trying not to waste diesel unless I need to go somewhere for a specific reason.

I have just cleaned the vacuum cleaner out as with OH constantly doing the odd bit of decorating it needs cleaning a lot but now scuppered my plans to do any hoovering whilst everything dries out! Ooooops! :rotfl:

Oh I really think I need to go back to work...... I am spending money again!

Just ordered a new coffee table for our living room, I know OH will think its a waste of money so ordered it from my account, well on the Barclaycard first but I will pay for it.

So thats £145 gone...... its a nice solid pine one though that should last a long time.....did use topcashback though so will get a few £ back lol!

If OH likes it I might be able to justify taking it out the house fund....

That will have to be my last big expense for a while though!!!

I slept terribly last night again, so I was going to nap this afternoon but now waiting on a courier to deliver a massive package for OH of some van seats/bed as we are converting his 12 year old VW van into a camper for holidays etc.

He loves old VWs and is really into the scene so we go to a lot of shows etc.

Its not going to be a full conversion as we want to be able to use it as a van as well but should mean we can go away camping etc when little one is here!!!

Got to persuade the delivery man to take it round the back to the garage too..... hopefully they will take pity on pregnant me!!!

All the delivery men have brought stuff in for me recently though!

And its 1 week today until my due date!!!!

You wont be spending money when baby arrives. You'll be too busy :)

New coffee table arrived, now got the no-body can touch it or use it blues. Ha Ha.

Think it needs a coat of varnish though that will please OH ;)

I am hoping to get to Morrisons today to stock up freezer with some meat with the Sun voucher, got a lot of baby discomfort though so not sure I will make it out the house!!

Also waiting on another delivery but thats only a little one so can be left with neighbour if needs be I hope.

5 days until my due date!

Time for an update I guess........

Yep I had my baby girl Madeleine on the 18th August 2014 at 10.33am weighing 6lb 8oz.

Unfortunately I had a very intensive labour that lasted over 30 hours......resulting in her being delivered in theatre via forceps.

I have been quite poorly since her birth, had various infections and even ended up back in hospital with E-Coli and have had some mobility issues too due to birth bruising......:o

So 8 weeks on I am slowly getting myself back on my feet but having a few mental health issues right now because of the trauma of her birth and events after and am looking into getting help with that.

Safe to say I am probably never going to have another child after my experience but this is not the forum to talk about it....

Maddie is gorgeous though and has luckily had no problems since her birth, is perfectly healthy, last week or so her personality has really come out, shes very smiley and giggles a bit.

Sometimes I struggle with a lot with flashbacks of her birth but sometimes it just takes her looking at me and cooing to think yes it was horrendous but I do love her more than anything. :A.
