Just a heads up for Panasonic in general.
I bought the Panasonic KX-TG6723 last year after doing some research because of the call blocking facility.
If you get an unwanted call, then just bar the number and they will never get through again.

Evidence? Links still working and show as "Home delivery within 2 days".

Tesco have the triple listed too http://www.tesco.com/direct/panasonic-kx-tgh223eb/604-5472.prd

    1. Evidence ?? Being shown that on the screen at my local Argos by the sales assistant !!
    2. The Panasonic model number on the Argos item is not the same as the one you reference in your OP

Links are still working and I did mention the different model number in my post.

So, it's not been removed from their catalogue and we're clear on that.

We are NOT clear on that - I have been told by Argos staff that it has been removed from the catalogue and was shown that on screen in store.
Be interesting to see what would happen if you completed an on-line order - it certainly HAS been removed from their store catalogue.

As a matter of interest, there seems to be only one other store claiming to have stock, Tesco direct. All the other places (in UK) say they have no stock or can get it "to order".
There is no sign of it at all with the likes of John Lewis or Amazon.

Mines not the CPR one its the white one off ebay with the display under £30 delivered.

My CPR Callblocker was under £30 from Amazon IIRC. It's the one without a display, but doesn't really need one as you program it from the handset connected.

They also come with a database of spammers already loaded, you can just push the button on the device if a nuisance caller gets through and it cuts them off and adds the number to the database.

Got my v2.01 from Flubit (sent by CPR themselves) for £51.

VERY impressed with the unit it is incredibly powerful I have to say.I know this because it does what my Android phone does and to have that on a landline is amazing.

To be able to use wildcards (eg 0845***, 0843***) is a massive selling point.

Never liked the old unit but the new one has a GUI (a screen!) which is the minimum I need and being able to control it from my DECT phone makes it a must-own.

I have now blocked withheld numbers direct from TalkTalk (it's free on most accounts) as they give a 'This number does not accept withheld calls' type of message -which is good as the CPR would just cut them off. Not many genuine withheld numbers out there (doctor or NHS maybe) but at least they know there's not a fault.
