Eternity Ring advice

Thanks all.
Whilst it would be great to have her help choose, I know she would far prefer it if I went for it myself.
She has small hands, with ring size G 1/2 - and wouldnt want anything flashy.
I think I am going to go with a 2mm one, which should sit nicely with her 3mm platinum band. Looking last night, the engagement ring is very narrrow, i'd say something like 1mm or 1.5mm max.
I'd agree. I think the 2mm sounds perfect in size. Will it lie flush against the solitaire engagement ring? If not it may beed to be shaped, you'll have to do that together. Should be fine if you get a fairly flat setting.
the diamonds in the wedding band.. how are they set? I would try to match the setting in the E ring if you can.
Lovely thought.x0 -
2mm sounds like a good option for small hands.
If you'd like to check how the engagement wedding ring and eternity ring would look together, but still surprise her, why not tell her a jeweller near [your work/somewhere she doesn't normally go] has a free/cheap polishing offer on on a particular day and you'll take her rings in for her to get them polished? You can then put all three rings together in the shop and see how they look. (The jeweller would probably polish your rings for free anyway if you're buying something - mine always does.)0 -
2mm is best for small hands, but its very costly to buy any ring and if you get a wrong ring then its of no use for her., so i would suggest you to get her to the shop, and do tell her that just choose it, i will not buy it right now, afterwards i will give you, Once she will decide it, i am damn sure she will not say anything you, and give that ring to her afterwards.

That’s so very thoughtful of you, really. The idea of giving your wife an eternity ring is superb.
Firstly, I want to release your uncertainty about the size. I believe 2.5 mm is just the right width for an eternity band that suits all hands. However, if your budget doesn’t permit you to exceed the set limit, you can opt for 2 mm wide bands as well. They too look graceful and delicate. This will suffice to your budget as well. I got a sapphire eternity wedding band by my husband and it is just the right size, which I never put off.
Channel-set is a nice choice. You can also watch for other setting options like bezel and pave-set. These settings make some awe-inspiring wedding bands. To be sure enough before making a purchase let her see some pictures casually, and see where her eyes get stuck. This way you can choose what exactly she desires and adores.0
