Mine have been small too, grown in the polytunnel, planted last October. Last year was rubbish but 2012 was an amazing, bumper crop, I don't think I bought any garlic for at least 6 months and we use loads.
Tommyknocker, not all garlic is equal by any stretch, cheap garlic lacks any juiciness IMO.0 -
