Hmmm, good point, getting heavy with the management company may not be such a great idea in this instance.
So just keep costing them £27 at PoPLA! The word will eventually filter down to the ticket monkey to leave your car alone.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Hi everyone. Sorry, I missed the notification of replies so missed quite a few responses.
Thanks all for your comments.
I agree that my wife should have been more careful but the fact that the permit on this occasion IS clearly visible with also the permit number legible makes me so angry that they would ticket for this reason.
Bazter - love your idea. I think I will do that. I bet many residents are just paying up.
I have now received the decision to my soft appeal which of course is that my appeal has been denied. It just shows that they don't even read the soft appeals as I pointed out that we won at POPLA last time in similar circumstances and will do again should they deny the appeal.
Oh well, POPLA here we come again.
Is there any point in adding into the POPLA appeal that the permit is clearly visible even in Premier Park's evidence photo? Or is that something that would be ignored by POPLA (although surely that should tell POPLA that the ticket issuer was pulling a fast one?)0 -
It certainly isn't going to do any damage. Exact same words as before but just add it in. It always helps to point out stupid parking operator errors to POPLA.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

It will be a self-ticketing operation with one of the residents of the apartment block earning a bit of pocket money by ticketing their neighbours. http://www.premierpark.co.uk/self-ticketing.htm0

And when you win (again) print or photocopy a bunch of copies of the adjudications and post them through all your neighbours' doors.Je suis Charlie.0

Search this forum for 'Premier Park POPLA' as I am sure there will be recent 2014 versions already written that are similar. Is it definitely 'Premier Park' and not a firm of a similar name?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello again.
Got an email through yesterday with a PDF attached.
Here's the important bit:The Operator has informed us that they have cancelled parking charge notice number ******, issued in respect of a vehicle with the registration mark ******* .
Your appeal has therefore been allowed by order of the Lead Adjudicator.
You are not liable for the parking charge and, where appropriate, any amounts already paid in respect of this parking charge notice will be refunded by the Operator.
Looks like rather than let it go to hearing, with no evidence or defence, Premier Park pulled out just before the hearing date which was the 14th.

Excellent result.
Next time in your appeal inform them that you will be invoicing them for your time and expenses if the appeal is upheld by POPLA.
Then do it.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
Nice one - this is becoming an expensive habit for them!

I'll be costing them more money shortly once I appeal my 2 PCNs I've been issued.
I'll setup a thread soon to details the journey.
I like the idea of informing all of the other residence and will aim to do this if I get a response before I move!!0
