Tesco eCoupon - Is it LEGAL?
Comments
-
Just to clarify - How did £4500 worth of eCoupons come into your possession?0
-
Not sure how you can say "The source of them is unknown to my self" and "they are not stolen" about the same vouchers without being extremely disingenuous.
The standard cry of the person buying dodgy gear from a bloke in a pub. Whether it's technically legal or not, don't kid yourself about where they came from. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Aren't e coupons assigned to a specific clubcard account? They are usually used for promotions and refunds on shopping deliveries.
You would be using them off another clubcard account, so something would show up on auditing with Tesco. Off their website.
Unless otherwise stated on the coupon front, coupons can only be redeemed once and must be redeemed by the person to whom they were issued, alongside the corresponding Clubcard.
Clubcard coupons have no cash redemption value, are not to be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded or published, and are valid in the UK and IOM only.
Copied, damaged or defaced coupons will not be accepted.
eCoupons can only be redeemed online and only one eCoupon starting X,TDX, GR or GC is valid per transaction. eCoupon codes started TDX cannot be used with any other ecoupon code.
The only other way around it, would be if the clubcard they have been assigned to, has not been registered and you can register it in your own name, but the chances of that are slim, as don't you have to register it first to enable the card anyway?0 -

OP, unless you know where these vouchers came from, not just from some bloke down the pub, then there is a good chance that you are using illegally obtained vouchers and by using the vouchers you are complicit.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Bit of interesting reading for you leeves.

Seems black and white to me.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Agreed, One won't be using any of these.
They came into my possession in lieu of a debt, I'll contact Tesco with the codes so they can re-issue new ones to the original owners if need be.
Cheers for the advice.0 -
The person who gave you these owed you money so gave you a load of dodgy codes & potentially could have gotten you arrested. nice!I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

and could pass their name on to tesco as the person who gave you the codes
