WDFC, Wonga or wonga.com have never traded as Barker and Lowe.
100% CORRECT
Scare tactics and harassment was the name of the game with Wonga. They were caught out and must be punished, lets hope the authorities have the balls to continue and do something good for a change and stop wasting money on people who are dead0 -

If you've had a letter, then do they not already know where you live? It's not difficult to find you through your credit report anyway.
They should not want debit card details - you could arrange for the compensation to come by direct transfer into a bank account (could be a savings account), by cheque or a reduction of an outstanding debt. Everyone will be contacted individually with an offer that relates to their individual circumstances.
Either way I can't see why you would refuse compensation, unless you think it's not enough.0 -

Just wondering if anyone has received any offer from Wonga?
I received a letter 7 weeks ago now saying i was entitled to compensation and they would get back to me within 8 weeks, i know its not been 8 weeks yet but not far of so just wondering if anyone has received any offer from them as yet?
I am not expecting alot to be honest but just wondered what people were getting offered :-)

Well hopefully it will be soon! The letter states 8 weeks from 25th June which according to my calculations should be this Wednesday. I doubt it will be a lot though but would be good to hear what people have been offered. Will keep posted if I receive anything in the meantimeSent them several emails asking when!!! I had a look on the website last night and there is an update from 11th August which says that the compensation process now may take another 8 weeks. Im sure they said 8 weeks from the date of 25th June, i think they are obviously aware they are in deep trouble so are trying to come up with a compensation package, however i doubt it will be much but according to the letter everyone automatically gets £50 as well and the rest is bonus but who knows, not expecting anything really but we shall see. Will update if and when i receive an offer :-)0 -
Hello
I finally received an offer from wonga yesterday. They have offered me £50.00 for distress and £101.20 for interest relating to the letters, apperently i havent been charged any charges but they have offered me this and are going to send me a cheque if i accept, i think i will accept as cant be bothered waiting longer and its money that i didnt have or expect so better than nothing. Good luck to those waiting for there compensation!Sent them several emails asking when!!! Finally got this response!!!
