broadband/phone contract ending

My broadband with bt ends on 7th july, but my line saver ends 19th july, I also signed up to bt free sports sometime in Sept.
Thinking of going to sky for tv and bb
Am I right in thinking as long as its after the 7th (cant see sky fitting before this time) all will be ok
Can the new provider take over the phone line before the 19th?
Also do I have to ring a certain department at bt to cancel the free sports so I don't get charged


I've tried getting a retention deal with bt but no joy

When you got BT Sport you renewed your broadband for 12 months, so your broadband will be inside the minimum term, so probably have an early termination charge on the broadband

I did think bt renewed my contract when I added the bt sport tv, well they mumbled something on the phone.


I've just rang again to inquire and was told sport is on my account but bundled in with the bb and that ends on the 7 th July.


Was also told when I move providers I will get a letter stating the bt sport will expire with the bb and I will have a option to then pay for it, not sure if this will happen bet they will just bill me!
