Don't get leather seats. Yes they look great but I have only had one car with leather seats and I found them too hot in summer and too cold in winter,
I think the key is you found too hot in summer and too cold in winter, not everyone will.
Don't most cars with leather seats come with heated seats as standard anyway? That helps in the winter.
TBH I'd never get a car without leather seats.0 -

After spending the extra money for the leather seats my Oh decided that we had to buy seat covers to go over the leather, talk about throwing money away.
My present car is, a good compromise, it has leather around the seat edges and material in the centre.
Don't eat fish. I did once and didn't like it.
Oh, and don't buy a Ford, Vauxhall, Nissan, Renault, Peugeot, Fiat, Volvo, VW, Skoda, BMW, Audi, Seat, Land Rover, Mercedes, Hyundai, Kia or Alfa Romeo. I know someone who's owned all of them and they didn't like something about them.
Stupid, eh? Bingo. The OP outlined why he wants leather. Maybe he likes it. Along with me, and many others. I never find my leather seats too cold, because I wear clothes. Ditto with them being hot.0 -
Check with your local licencing authority and depending if it is private hire or a Hack, you might find seat covers aren't allowed.
If they are allowed, get properly fitted, covering every part, leather look, model specific covers. If it's allowable, it's nuts to do anything else.0
