What do you think?
Unless there is a limit set which using multiple numbers gets around,
(which generally there is not with competition entries but there might be with programmes involving voting) you can use different numbers.
The T&C's cover voting and competitions and not all parts of them are relevant to both, you need to read them in conjunction with any terms that relate to the vote or competition you are entering.0 -

or the making ######## of multiple entries ###### by an individual entrant using multiple different phone numbers
Sounds like a ban - number of entries per telephone number doesn't necessarily imply the same individual can use multiple telephone numbers0 -

I've emailed them to clarify, as some (if not all - I haven't checked) of the individual T&Cs say:up to 6 entries per phone number provided0 -
Because I want to ensure I am not wasting my time I tried to look at the full addresses for the Captcha, Non Captcha and from the ITV site.
Interestingly I couldn't find it on the ITV site until I used the search option and then it came up with the non captcha version!
I suspect that it is a bug and will disappear agin before long.
I will continue to use the Captcha just to be on the safe side.0 -
Cooldude did you get a response? Would definitely explain why the bloke who uses 24 phone numbers never wins! I only use 1 anyway.Make £10 per day-

Still no reply from ITV.
I'll post here if they eventually get back to me.
Interestingly, an MSE winner posted saying they got a phone call yesterday and that they use three phone numbers0 -

That seems a little harsh! Three numbers is surely reasonable (I have three numbers in regular use - home landline, personal mobile, work mobile) and entering a comp with all three is entirely reasonable - as indeed the ITV comps effectively encourage you to do (by saying X entries per phone number).
The query above related to someone who said they entered with 24 phone numbers - which are clearly not all 'real' numbers they use everyday and are probably just for multiple comping entries. 24 is clearly NOT in the spirit of the comp, though it might or might not be within the rules.
But three numbers are normal for many people - and so reasonable to use imho (though actually I use just 2 for ITV comps).
But this is all off-topic - the thread is supposed to be about whether bypassing captchas is legit - my view remains that it shouldn't be.0 -
ITV did eventually reply to me, and they confirmed thatyou can make up to the maximum number of entries per phone number supplied
However,if we see 30 or more entries from an individual per entry platform then we will consider this to be beyond the expected level of entries from an entrant and will treat this as an attempt to manipulate the service and discount all their entries.0 -
That suggests using a max of 4 phone numbers - i.e. most big ITV prizes are 6 per tel no - or use 5 but restrict one to 5 entries
This restriction should be on a new thread and credited to cooldude255220
- it could effect a lot of people - my family uses 6 numbers all from the same IP address0
