    All the Learners should now be aware that Lindsay McCurdy is the real leader of the Learners Support Group. She is there to help learners, and has no other motive! There is a down market "LinkedIn" group called the "New Qualified Assessors Support Group". The owner is Andrea, and the Manager is her sidekick the non learner Steven. But be warned, if you do not toe the party line on this group you risk being censored, or being expelled from the group.

    Andrea is not the spokesperson for the Learners, despite what she might think. She has a forged signature yes, but other learners expressed their misgivings about Bright long before she came on the scene. Lindsay is the way forward for the group, and don't some people just hate it. Daniel owns the Bright Training Problems Facebook page which is doing an excellent job in highlighting the problems caused by Bright. If any learners want any help, then they should, in my opinion only, go through Lindsay on the Bright page. .

    On another note, to give a flavour as to the sort of disgusting abuse Lindsay has had to endure; someone has referred to her as McTurdy!

    A few notes:
    -Pages 717-719 from the link below apply
    -Remember the rules state that you can claim up to 120 from "the date that the Cardholder was first made aware that the merchandise or services would not be provided" - so keep that in mind when talking to the bank! I remind you that up until June (well within the 120 days) Bright were telling learners that a new service provider would be used so 'you had no reason to believe the service would still not be delivered'.
    -The staff in the Branches probably don't know about this scheme, the banks like to keep it quiet! Call your bank and ask to speak to the Retail Disputes Team or Debit Card Team.
    -Do not allege fraud, this invalidates the claim (no idea why).

    I'm with santander and they sent me the form. I filled in in and they replied to say rejected.

    I'll go down and talk to the staff in person.
  • Bright International Training have gone in to administration and are advising all learners who paid but didn't complete the course and employees still owed money to contact the receivers. Reported in FE Week website
