DS2 is bouncing off the walls anyway........end of term and lots of disruption to normal routines. He's being very argumentative  I told him tonight he needed to calm down and get a decent sleep as I had to wake him up because he overslept this morning (it was like waking the dead ). I've been corrected and told he technically didn't oversleep.....he was awake at 5.30 but found it difficult to get up.
    I'm just nodding and agreeing
    :o

I also agree about souvenir shops :mad: it was the Imperial War Museum in Manchester that he bought the dodgy bear dressed in PVC :D :rotfl:

FC that did make me chuckle :rotfl:

What happens now to the pants? Will they have to be kept separate and only used for school trips? :o

Yes he is back. He was half an hour early  which has the same effect on him as being half an hour late. He's had a good moan about it!
He had a good time and managed to spend the £10 spending money he was allowed on a blinking teddy bear dressed as a pilot :D I wouldn't mind, but I took 2 bin bags full of soft toys to the tip last week because I couldn't give the bloomin things away! :rotfl::rotfl:
......yes £10 for a little teddy dressed in a PVC jacket and hat

Do you really think it is suitable??
(FC asked me to post a pic of it, as her photobucket account is playing up ;) )

I nearly bought some from Lidl with exactly the same problem. Funnily enough I emailed them about it, but I have not heard a thing back, that was when it was on weekend special a couple of weeks ago. I hasten to add I didn't actually buy it, I read the instructions before I bought it and decided I could actually do that with some I had in the freezer :D

I would have considered it too much faffing around if I had read the instructions.
Must say it was really nice and kinder on teeth than munching on ribs. Pulling the tiny joint apart myself did mean I could get all the fat off.
Definately buy as a treat again.

First banana and walnut loaf a great success. Forgot I had no cooling tray so used steel drainer, worked just as well. In the end I went with the bbc food receipe on their website. Have a feeling after reading ingredients it is the one I use to use. Still enough bananas for another one plus some jam tomorrow.
First lot of zest gone in vodka.
Picked up my final f and f orders today.

They'll probably never be seen again :D:rotfl::rotfl: He only agreed to this school trip because it was in school hours. School activities out of school hours are a total no go for him.
He separates his pants into school and non school, just in case anyone thinks it's me! :rotfl: I bought new boxers in the holidays last year for school, as you do. He examined them all and has stuck rigidly since then to the pants in those packs being 'school underpants' it very quaint, he won't call them boxers :D :rotfl:

Being the lazy, incompetent mare that I am :o......it's not uncommon for him to be shouting downstairs in a morning 'Mum, Ive got no school underpants, are there any in the basket? ' (there always is :o) that's followed by him telling me to shut my eyes and hand the underpants over the bannister  :D :rotfl:
