Evening all, just caught up with today's antics.

Had a fab time at the Tour de France today. Several hours waiting on the Mall. Caught the sun, got caught in rain and the men in Lycra flashed by in a few seconds. Loved it :D

It does make me  that so called souvenir shops charge so much, I am guessing it was that sort of shop he bought it from. I used to find it so difficult to explain to the girls when they were younger that after we had paid to take them somewhere that all we could afford from the shop was a pencil or rubber. :o

I'm glad DS2 had a good time and hope the early arrival back was not too much of a problem. Bless him. :A

DS2 is bouncing off the walls anyway........end of term and lots of disruption to normal routines. He's being very argumentative  I told him tonight he needed to calm down and get a decent sleep as I had to wake him up because he overslept this morning (it was like waking the dead ). I've been corrected and told he technically didn't oversleep.....he was awake at 5.30 but found it difficult to get up.
I'm just nodding and agreeing :o

I also agree about souvenir shops :mad: it was the Imperial War Museum in Manchester that he bought the dodgy bear dressed in PVC :D :rotfl:

Have you noticed that many of these places also have the gift shop conveniently placed as an exit point too?? At Yorkshire wildlife park you have to go through the shop to get out!! As if you didn't spend enough on entrance fees, ice creams, lunch etc ...
