Evening all, hoping someone can suggest a recipe as I have 3 peaches, a couple of apricots and 3 or 4 nectarines all about to go off so I need to use them up. I'm still not a fan of just eating them, so any recipe which could use them up would be appreciated! I did wonder about just sticking them all in a pot and making a weird sort of jam, but I don't want to waste them.
Slice them into ramekins and sprinkle with crumble mix.. Individual fruit crumbles....serve with custard or ice cream:)0 -
Yes it is a bit frustrating when

you get things like this (highlighted) returning N/A vs M when the loose Gala Apples are on cheaper price in M today. (Though why anyone would bother with paying for fruit, by debit card today rather than yesterday by Sun voucher...;)) And when the Baked Cheddars are 50p each in M. It did make quite a difference as well, as the M comp. was the 'winning' one:(.0 -

He had a good time and managed to spend the £10 spending money he was allowed on a blinking teddy bear dressed as a pilotI wouldn't mind, but I took 2 bin bags full of soft toys to the tip last week because I couldn't give the bloomin things away! :rotfl::rotfl:
......yes £10 for a little teddy dressed in a PVC jacket and hat
Glad he had a good time and hope he has got over the being early bit.
Kids spend money on crap, my kids always buy sweets and random bits that never ever get seen or used again, the fact that they have the money in their pocket, and its burning a hole in it I think.0 -

Just been in Home Bargains and they have a nice double pack of lashes for £1.49. Very normal nice lashes.

Cheers VT. I had some put on over the weekend to try them out and I'm enjoying the instant glam. It's funny how a set of lashes and new nails can instantly make you feel loads sexier and more ladylike
Mrs S I've just started to use the palmers cocoa butter stuff with self tanner in that you recommended. Looks like it will build up gradually so I'm pleased so far.Debt free 6th December 2014
