Oh I had a very MSE dinner tonight. The half price sirloin from Ts with free cabbage and onion mash and minted vegetables from Morries. Watermelon for pud. 2 steak dinners for less than £5 :money:
Did anyone else buy that cabbage and onion mash? Oh my it tasted divine! Even OH, who's not a fan of prepared food, was impressed.

......oh I did feed the kids as well :o they just don't like steak

Yes! I was lucky to get two whoopsied down to 49p each. Have frozen it so will look forward to that :)

Yesterday we had the signature mash (also whoopsied). That was lovely. My kids hate my mash but loved this!

Yeah my GP and I do not have a good track record, they lost all my families notes, screwed up my uncle's death certificate delaying the funeral by a week, and told me that being on my 'lady time' for a year+ was normal  I've tried changing to a local GP (we were fobbed off onto this one when my GP retired) but they're full up apparently and I'm out of the catchment area by 2 roads for the one that has spaces, so I have to remain at mine which is 4 miles further out! So frustrated!

When I was having problems getting an appointment at my previous doctors, I asked to speak to the practice manager who was able to give me an appointment for that day even though there were none available. HTH :)

Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Morning all. I'm comfortably sitting at my brother's upstairs flat waiting for the tour de France cyclists to pass through. Also parked my car on the other side of the road closure in case there's a glitch, just couldn't help myself :rotfl:

I am sort of wishing I went up with Mr TS as at least I would have got chance to see. And a nice meal at the end of the day.

I hope they don't ride past too quick. ;)

All this waiting and build up for half a minute of pleasure... feels vaguely familiar
