Hope you ok EMMAP and glad Spike Jonze turned up ....
Yeah I'm alright. Had just started the 'how do I tell my friend' panicking and up he pops as though nothing had happened!
I'm sitting here with a cold glass of wine in the sun, watching them tumble about like nuttersDebt free 6th December 2014

And speaking of dogs, and autism (not about autism in dogs but in people talking about dogs), there was one person with an autism spectrum disorder who really liked statistics from dog races. There they were, at work, discussing other things and then... back to the dog races again(:rotfl:). Sometimes people have to say 'we'll give you free rein to discuss about dog races for ten minutes during each day and then nothing else (on that subject) please!'.
I often make linkages between different things that most people wouldn't. And, from my POV, regarding the preceding thing - allowed to talk about specialist topic for a certain time then not at any other point in the day - I think that is probably counterproductive as tends to make the person completely non-verbal outside the permitted time, which isn't necessarily a good thing - already socially-isolated enough you might think - and I wrote yesterday(?) about not even bothering to say things in RL these days as feeling that people wouldn't listen anyway and would do more to inflame things as people generally can't take the truth - maybe they can, but it's just context or 'way of going about it', which I just don't really get - maybe best not to put any restriction on the person but just to 'grin and bear it' (or rather not grin in my view, please don't do that and I won't fully understand what you mean if you do) but then I fail to understand how profound and negatively-affective on your emotional well-being the feelings of boredom are.
And there ends my (unintended) autism awareness sermon/lecture.:D Thank you for attending and see you again some time:).0 -

Are frozen blueberries any good for smoothies?
Perfect - means less ice as well
I like to chuck half an avocado in any of my smoothies - healthy fat and it makes it really creamySomething unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

...And I thought neurotypicals were aware of other people's space?
(I'm doubting that they were autistic - as much highly likely to be that they are not.)
Oh - there I go again - always able to tie it back into something else related once again:D:rotfl::rotfl:.:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
More likely... although the space boundaries are not intuitively present for me (and I can only speak about me) - I think it would have been even more unlikely that I would have stepped on your foot as my level of focus and concentration on things around me, such as your foot, is I think greatly exaggerated compared to most people. They wouldn't notice such irrelevancies, to them, as your foot. I would notice everything! (Except your facial expressions:rotfl:.) I'm constantly thinking about things before I do them, and so much more mental effort being put into things in advance that you would not be aware is happening. It can be exhausting I suppose - but I just over-think a lot of things.
The clumsy people, treading on your toe:(. Hope your toe is alright. Cluminess can be a feature of Asperger's, although is not necessary to diagnose the condition, but I suspect these people are not Aspergic but rather are just 'normal' people in a rush to get off the bus, or to take their seat or position where they are going to stand, and like most people weren't paying much attention to you or where they were treading. That is a much more likely explanation to me. Not that you wanted an explanation or an analysis of the matter like that:o:o:rotfl::rotfl: - but, thank you Savvy, nonetheless...:D:rotfl:0 -

They never even knew they did it!
It's not as if my feet were stuck out either, just in normal " sat on the bus " position. Tomorrow I will wear more suitable footwear. Like stiletto heels so I can stand on their feet back :rotfl::DI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
