Had a nice day with dgd we fed the birds (with whoopsiebread) and sat still on the bench watching them eat

that's no mean feat getting my dgd to sit still and quiet

though I wouldn't want her to

been to 2 different parks then came back and fed the bird

currants they flock for them and then dad comes to pick her up

and she said remember me Gwandma when am not here I like

currants too Don't forget Gwandma ...bless her you think she
never had anything in her life

I do recall a Which? report about various models not reaching 60 degrees.

My 'default' position tends to be that all products are the same and therefore, like you, would go for cheapest. However, cheapest is not always better and can sometimes be lower quality ('you pay for what you get...'). They're both apparently reputable manufacturers (although that equally doesn't mean that some generally unknown name wouldn't work), though I'm sure both of them have featured on Watchdog at one point or another. Then there's the perception that products made more modernly are not built to last these days - the story of the washing machine from the 1980s lasting 20 years and then the one made five years ago breaking down within a couple of years. Far be it from me to put it past them or to suggest... Cynic in me does however say that it pays them if the machines break down or don't last as it then gets people buying washing machines more often and thus rewarding them for the lower lifespan if machines indeed have that nowadays.

Probably google them and see what the reviews are. (Maybe the obvious!) Maybe people here have one or other of these specific machines and have their own views? Perhaps see if either of the specific machines have featured in any Which? reports and what they said about them, positive or negative (or even neutral:D - Savvy covering every possibility and eventuality completely again:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

My washing machine has died. Any advice gratefully appreciated. I need an integrated one and am currently looking through tcb at whirlpool AWODO60 cheapest £280 and hotpoint BHWM1292 at £329 I just don't know which one to choose. My instinct is of course to go with cheapest but oh not sure! Thank you elite.

Cant see the whirlpool one .

The hotpoint been looking on Currys and the wash times seem ages . For a 40 degree wash on mine which is an LG its 38 mins . That hotpoint says its 185 mins .

Not much help for you sorry.

Was not a lot to go wrong with one of these apart from it vibrating out of the kitchen and getting a dent in it as it bounced down the steps ;)

I remember my mum had one of these, and that bounced around the kitchen, we used to take it in turns and sit on it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
