My heart is thumping so fast. For about 20 minutes genuinely thought that one of the kittens (his name is Spike Jonze) was missing. Nowhere in sight and wasn't coming when Mamma called. He's just appeared for a feed.

Rang a few dog charities but they are really busy.
Also rang RSPCA who told us to ring an animal charity![...] [C]ouldn't believe that.
And there I was - thinking that the RSPCA are an animal charity. Obviously I'm wrong again:(. Which idjut at the RSPCA thinks that they are not an animal charity? Lol:rotfl: - makes me go onto the Charity Commission website now to see if I can check the precise description of their legal charity status and would then complain (to the RSPCA) if they are described as an animal charity. (Surely not the right approach?:rotfl:) I think it's code for they are short-staffed and are either unable or unwilling to help you:(. Always have to decipher code you see:(:(:rotfl:.
[Edit:] Ah - I see it now! Or maybe I don't!:rotfl: I think they meant they don't take unwanted dogs and that you are best going to an animal sactuary or dogs' home or something, rather than that they weren't an animal charity. The person could have expressed it more elegantly and precisely though - bloody neurotypicals (excluding those that have brain conditions that are not typical)*!
*You may have noticed (almost certainly will, since it is quite long) this parenthesised appendage - I've decided the word "neurotypical", to describe people who are not on the autism spectrum, is inaccurate. There are people with epilepsy for example, whose brain certainly isn't "typical", but who do not have autism (or an autistic spectrum condition). People with Parkinson's or Alzheimer's may have different issues with the brain (which we are not precisely sure about or perhaps what causes them) - their brain may therefore be said not to be "typical", and therefore isn't neurotypical, even though they do not have an autistic spectrum disorder or other pervasive developmental disorder non-specified. Does 'neurotypical' cover just not having ASD or does it exclude PDD-NS as well? I intend to mean "people who do not have autism spectrum disorder", so have added that appendage now as just saying "neurotypical" is, I have decided/been persuaded, inaccurate and I would never countenance inaccuracy of any sort of course. I may as well just write "non-autistic people" as that's surely far few words than "neurotypical" and then the parenthesised clarification/exclusion? Or maybe, for comedic effect, I ought to just exclaim "Bloody neurotypicals!" and leave it at that, even if not strictly accurate. Yes, pin in my backside again:o:rotfl:.
