    Yes...lovely memories. Thank you.

We called it knocky nine doors:)

And I remember French skipping and hopscotch with a shoe polish tin called a dabber.
I also remember turning milk into butter on warm days by shaking it in bottle. Trying to dig a hole big enough to reach Australia. Building a house out of fluff. Putting Rose petals in bottles and trying to sell it to people around the doors. Putting plays on. Lighting fires with a magnifying glass. Holding kerb sales outside our house.oh happy days:)

I'm now trying to think of the name we used to give marbles:think::think:
    I'm wanting yo say muggles:rotfl:

    Good morning
    I remember it well
Picking rosehipsand splitting them open.Putting down peoples backs to make them itch. Also our favourite was picking primroses and tying them to a stick and selling them. Also baskets full of blackberries and selling them to the greengrocer.

This was our church in the village I lived in (Lowfield Heath) before Gatwick Airport bought up the whole area & made everyone move away :(

The church was the only building left & we attended Sunday School there.
I always remembered the story about the dog carved on the outside as it was run over & immortalized for ever on the church :A

What a lovely and sad story snap

Ps I liked playing spies too. I had a broken aerial than extended that I used to talk into:rotfl:
