And Ive had a great deal of thought about those ribbon tabs. They can't be necessary because men's clothes don't have them in, or kids clothes. So why do they put them in ours?
They are only there so the clothes sit well on the hanger in the shop, so they don't serve any purpose while you're wearing them.
The reason most men's and kids' clothes don't have them is because they tend to have smaller necklines which stay on the hanger without extra help. I say most, because in the shop where I work anyway, some items of kids'and men's clothing have them. For example to hang PJ bottoms onto the same hanger as the PJ top.

Good morning everyone!
It feels chilly here so I'm in no hurry to look out the window to see what the weather is doing. Think I'll stay in bed for a bit longer.

Years ago I was informed by a sales assistant that you are supposed to loop these round your bra straps to stop the tops slipping off your shoulders. Waste of time and effort.
After working in a clothes shop for a few years I loved these loops as you were forever picking up garments off the floor that had slipped off the hangers and I would say this is the sole purpose for them.I have a friend that sews them in all her clothing that does not have them in,personally I cut them out where not needed;)0 -
