Hope you have lovely days. I promise I won't raid any Ts in Southampton (moody passengers won't allow me to
). And in no way did I just eat the salvageable bits of cake, nope :whistle:

My artistic skills aren't up to much, but that's meant to be a poppy in the middle (got lots of lovely purple poppies in my garden this summer), green fields, then a sun and skyscape. I didn't let the colours dry long enough, unfortunately, so some have rubbed off.
Basically...
Get some Sharpie pens, some cheap ceramics (plates/cups etc), decorate how you want, leave for 24-48 hrs, then stick in the oven at 450C for about an hour.
Lots more tips here

What a great idea, I would also recommend doing a pottery course in an adult education class I wanted some specific tiles for my kitchen, but could not afford them so I went and made them. I continued attending for years as I loved it x:p:p

I am pleased to say that she has got a great job starting in September - so after 3 years of university, finally earning some cash! It's thanks to this site that she got through university eating very well and cheaply. A big thankyou to Claire1972 who has kept my stash levels high over the last 6 months and bringing me up to speed with what's been going on xxx Hopefully I will be contributing soon xxxx

Quiet lazy day on the cards here today and no shops for me. Never did finish the list I started so figured it wasn't meant to be :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Morning all.
Hope everyone is well.
Lil stink woke me up at 5.45 this morning :eek:, I told him to take himself back to bed as it was way to early for a Saturday morning. He did-and the cheeky beggar took his daddy's iPad with him. I found him at 8am laying in bed watching paw patrol on YouTube :eek::rotfl:fairclaire wrote: »I have a piece of invaluable advice to pass on to the ladies, and any men with long hair
You know those annoying pieces of ribbon that are attached to the inside of shoulders on clothes, for no apparent reason? The ones that always work their way outside the clothes, no matter what?
........if you are going to cut them out whilst wearing the garment
1. choose a small pair of scissors
2. Move your hair out of the way!
:eek::o:o :cool: :rotfl:
That was attached to my head until this evening:rotfl:
:eek::eek:
Oh crap!
Did you freak FC??? I would have had a fit :eek:purpledonkey wrote: »I was. I just made a gorgeous smelling vegan, chocolate and coconut cake. Just as I took it out of the oven it slipped out of my hands and splattered all over my kitchen. I don't have the time or ingredients to make another one as I'm leaving for Southampton in about an hour. I'm half amused but secretly crying inside :rotfl: These things happen though
:eek::eek::eek:
Gutted! I would have cryed my eyes out then licked the floor clean :rotfl:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0
