That is very true:) My sis wouldn't have it any other way. Her DS is actually a lovely, well-behaved, well- brought-up boy ... well, young man now.
Where did those last 18 years go? It only seems like yesterday that he looked like this'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I ended up on stage with Billy Bragg, too. By accident. He was playing in the acoustic tent, which was jam-packed full, so we went round the back of tent and sneaked in under the tent, security spotted us, I saw a little set of wooden steps, escaped up those ... and found myself on the stage:eek: with Billy in mid-song.:o He was fine about it, though - top bloke; I knew him, as I'd put him up a few years before, for the night, when he was on tour promoting Life is a Riot With Spy vs Spy.
'Levi Stubbs' Tears' is still one of my favourite songs

Jelly what a brilliant story
How often does one accidentally find oneself thrust on-stage mid-set at Glastonbury with a famous artist and say 'oh but it was ok, I knew him, I put him up for the night once'

Oh no, I hope Metallica don't turn up, the spare room is in a right mess

I spent an hour trying to make it look like it was supposed to look like that but only succeeded in making it look more like I'd had a chunk cut out by accident
I'll need to put it up tomorrow:rotfl:
And Ive had a great deal of thought about those ribbon tabs. They can't be necessary because men's clothes don't have them in, or kids clothes. So why do they put them in ours? :think:0 -

I was actually pondering that just this very morning when I put a new top on and promptly took it back off to cut them out! :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

The Glastonbury security were cool about it, too; they let us stay for the rest of the set (I didn't mention that I was BFFs:o with Billy, either.)
I used to do that quite a bit back then,'open house' for bands on tour, it was sort-of part of what I did for a living (not any more). Particularly for bands that were just starting out - on tour in a transit van, that kind of thing. Some quite big names, too, or they were later. And some of them would return the favour, so if I went to see them play in their home towns, I would stay at their house. It was a lot of fun.:D'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

You know those annoying pieces of ribbon that are attached to the inside of shoulders on clothes, for no apparent reason? The ones that always work their way outside the clothes, no matter what?
........if you are going to cut them out whilst wearing the garment
1. choose a small pair of scissors
2. Move your hair out of the way!
:eek::o:o :cool: :rotfl:
That was attached to my head until this evening:rotfl:
OMG :eek::eek::eek:
Do I need to send DD3 up to rescue the rest. :rotfl:
We will be bit closer than normal tomorrow, as travelling up to see DD2.0 -

Am I the only one who thinks they are necessary to stop clothes falling off hangers when wardrobes are soooo jam packed.0 -
