Sadly the bay can be a bit grim in the rain. If you have younger children, then techniquest is fun. I can recommend cafe rouge for food.
But if you want to get out of rain, then you might want to go back to centre of Cardiff and go to national museum - free and indoors!
I like the national museum but i didn't think it was a particularly child friendly attraction, but I don't have any kids.Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...
Pet Peeves.... queues, vain people and hypocrites ..not necessarily in that order.0 -
i dont have any kids either, it was 3 adults going
we had an amazing time, loved everything we did, in fact we loved Cardiff so much we are planning a full holiday there next year with our parents. thank you all for your suggestions, no1catman thank you, hopefully will be able to try some of your suggestions when we go next time
ps I LOVED the Dr Who exhibition, i am a massive dr fan and the interactive bit at the beginning, yes it is a bit out of date now, but i loved every second of it, and seeing all the props from the 50th anniversary was brilliant! My face was aching afterwards, I was smiling so much!! lolYou're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
Glad you had a good time, I've been to the DWE three times, first was brilliant not long after it opened and there was so much there, second was a huge disappointment and there wasn't as much to see and do as the first time. The third time was better than second but not as good as the first. They seem to change it quite often so it depends on whats there at the time as to whether it's any good or not.0
