That's all very well but it makes the forum less readable for everyone else so I take issue with your "causes no harm" statement. No offence intended.i am quite used to and happy at the way i use the forum, and as it causes no harm to anyone else i will keep it the way it is.
i dont mind people asking why i use the bold but do find it irritating when other posters discuss me and my reasons rather than asking ME2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0 -
then 'ignore' my posts.
other forum users accept that fact that i use bold, many without knowing the reason why.
i'm not inclined to explain in a signiature as my sight problems are a small part of the person i am, and i dont want it to be my defining feature

I have to say, from a personal point of view, that it makes absolutely no difference to my ability to read the forum at all. I take issue with some of the content of nanny's posts, but the bolding certainly isn't a problem.0 -
