Perth, Brisbane or Sydney for the weekend?

....
Given the choice, which of the three would you recommend and why? :D

Sydney!! Every time (though I haven't been to Perth even though my brother is there)

The atmosphere is fantastic, so much to see (North Shore as well as the city) and do (climb the bridge, take a boat trip up the Paramatta, see the zoo, walk along Manly's beaches).

Brisbane is nice (and slightly warmer being more northerly) but it just didn't grab me the same, unless you travelled out to the sunshine coast.

We're not that keen on city breaks round here; in Sydney we generally just headed out to the beach (note - sea is much colder than in Queensland!) Sydney-siders were also much ruder than Queenslanders, although the bridge climb was awesome (see my avatar).
Brizzy was good, had a nice few days there, although the fact that we have friends living there may make me a little biased. The trip up to Beerwah to visit Australia Zoo is well worth it. It was really good.

From a moneysaving point of view, Brisbane was cheaper ;)

hhhhhmmmmm, so it's Sydney, which was the answer I guess I was expecting. :)

I was kinda hoping the majority would go with Perth, because it would involve the least travel, but I guess no pain, no gain.... Thanks to all who replied. :D

I loved Perth... but probably just cos it was on the West coast which was my favourite bit of Australia... I mean there is a lot to do in Sydney but there's enough in Perth to keep you busy for a weekend, definitely. especially if you go down to Fremantle and poke around. weather's a bit warmer at the mo too than sydney. ahh, can I come with you!
