Virgin Media Problems

Hi all, I am having trying to solve an issue for my dad who is having a problem with Virgin Media, since March 2014 when Virgin installed Broadband to his package the TV jumps channels on a regular basis. Virgin technicians have visited 4 times with no real success, I have been informed we cannot cancel the whole package as it is under contract for another 8 months unless a fee of £240 is paid. Any suggestions what my next step could be.

My post advising you to contact the CEO office has been deleted - presumably because I gave too much detail.
Use google to find the correct email - it will take about 20 seconds.
If this post gets deleted too I'll be quitting this site for good because of this ridiculous policy.0 -
Thank you kwikbreaks, I have sent an email to the CEO I will update the forum if I receive a reply.0

Hi, email worked a treat, I received a call the following day from a named complaints agent who would deal with the issue. After discussions Virgin Media are not charging for disconnection.
Thanks again0 -
I have found the VM CEO office very useful in the past when I used their service. They were even more useful when I left. I had been notified of yet another price increase only weeks after renegotiating following the previous increase and was heartily sick of both my poor local connection and their inability to hold agreed prices for any length of time. I called to confirm that the increase allowed me to leave charge free and was told yes. After I had had FTTC installed I called to terminate and was given some outrageous early termination fee. I spoke to a supervisor and no joy. I even got put through to retentions who had the cheek to tell me that the increase notification had been a mistake so I would be charged. The CEO office phoned me back less than an hour after I emailed and not only waived the charge but cancelled my need to pay the normal 30 day notice as an apology for the run around I'd been given.0
