Shed window smashed

I accidently smashed a glass window on my shed. I just taped a black bag on it for now and don't know anyone that could fix it for me, what would be the best way for me to fix it or patch it up?

    Call a brazier?

Why, do you want them to set fire to the shed? :D

Maybe a glazier would be a better option.

    Is it glass or plastic?

    How is it fixed in?

You could get a piece of glass or glazing plastic cut to size and fix it in by the same method as the original.

Or you could get some clear heavy duty polythene and use that if you are not too bothered about the appearance. Make sure you make it as weatherproof as possible.

Sheet of perspex would be simple to DIY. Or if you dont want it totally clear some twin wall plastic sheet. Fairly cheap.

It's glass and not sure how it's fixed in. I will take a picture. The shed has seen better days so not too bothered about appearance.

I bought some plastic and put it in but it's not very secure.

Also I'm thinking of replacing this shed with one the same size but I'm totally confused about the measurements of my current shed as my tape measure says 3M and the sheds I'm looking at are in ft. I'm useless at maths and measuring :o

    This is my current shed.

A shed like that is hardly likely to provide much in the way of security even if it was new.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

no idea what sort of measure you`re using but that shed looks like a 6ft X 4ft..apx 183cm X 122cm
if you want to replace it your best bet would be to go and look at some, maybe B+Q or some such place to get an idea of the size you need/want.
that way you won`t need to measure and can then find your best price online afterwards.:money:

    That's a tough one

Try typing 3m=ft into Google; you never know, it might work it out for you!
