Ah, this will likely be treated as you appeal and will almost certainly get rejected.
stand by and wait for a POPLA code and then head over to post 3 of the Newbies thread when it arrives and find a relevant appeal to use as the basis of you appeal.

It will be legal arguments that will win your case at POPLA not any of the circumstances. Although fingers crossed the evidence you sent will result in a cancellation.

    Have you complained to PALS?

If it's in one of these hospitals I have a contact at the trust you can use to get this cancelled, Vinci are toothless though and will run away on a strong appeal.

Sorry I don't accept PMs on here

Stroma, it was at 1 of those hospitals. I really appreciate the offer about your contact. However, it has become personal. The PCN was unjust, unfair and has no basis on evidence. I am in the process of writing to the CE of ABMU on this issue. PS I work in the NHS. PPS, found sticky thread. Yay! Thanks to all other responders.

Hi! All, sorry for the delay with this news.
On 25th July, letter from ABMU Trust arrived stating "....your PCN would be cancelled..... as::T
    1) It was agreed that parking bay markings were poor and " ... it is not compliant in the area with our Terms and Conditions Signage.":)
    3) GPEOL. " The PCN is considered a reasonable charge for liquidated damages..... and [ The Trust] contend it is not a penalty for a number for reasons. " These reasons include managing costs, employment of parking attendants, erection and equipment maintenance, office admin staff costs, payment of membership fees and "other fees...." "general costs, including stationery, postage etc."

The above is only a summary of the full letter,

Thanks all for your help and advice,:grouphug: Thanks also to ABMU management for some common sense in this matter. ;)

Complete crap, the trusts in Wales cannot charge anything for those so called losses, so it's a penalty. Anyway congrats on winning this
