I doubt it has a bonnet with an engine of that size sitting in the bay0 -
That is why the washer bottle is small, as with a six litre engine there is no room to fit a bigger bottle :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think you might find it is a 1.6L not a 6.1L
I think a six litre engine in a ford KA would rip the tyres to shreds in no time :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

How about a V8 Chevy powered Fiat 126Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
I'd love to hear an old OHV Ford engine redesigned at a 6.1 V8.
It'd sound like somebody kicking a barrel of ball bearings down a fire escape!0 -
Duh! hadn't spotted the typo. But even with 1.6 it is pretty good fun.:p
Think i'm getting dyslexic in my old age.
I have been trying to put together a job application all weekend..hopefully with more accuracy than my hurried posts on here.0 -
Good luck mate - hope you get the job.0

good luck with the job application, fingers crossed
I checked my tyres today, Wheels off one at a time cleaned inside and out and tread depths checked all around, lowest 4.02 mm on one of the drive wheels, all pressures checked one was about .02 bar down so around 3 psi light
all back on and torqued up so good for the next couple of weeks before the next check0 -
Thanks. Have been feeling unwell since Sat so it's hard putting it all together, and slow. I'm being realistic - it is a career change slightly so won't be easy and just doing it for the experience and to see how far I can get at this point, with my current experience. Feels like monumental effort when already working full time but I have to force myself however tired.0

Gosh. Do you do a lot of mileage? Is as much as that necessary every two weeks or do you just love it?:D0 -

the brakes on my car seem to generate a massive amount of dust and the wheels do seem to get very dirty
I take them off and clean inside and out about once every three months and apply a coat of heavy duty wax which makes them a lot easier to keep clean
I check my tyre pressures about once a month and at the same time i run my hands over the tyre tread to check where the tread wear indicator is in relation to the tyre tread
when i have the wheels off i check tyre tread depths all across and around the tyre checking for even tyre wear, which gives a good indication that the wheel alignment is still true0
