Signs only on one side of road

Hi,

As the registered keeper I received a ticket for the driver of my car parking on the other side of the road from a no parking sign. There were absolutely no signs on the side of the road that the driver was parked, no yellow lines, nothing. The driver took photos and about 10 other people had parked there and received tickets also so it's obviously not clear if they want it to apply to that side of the road as well. I plan to appeal this but wondered other peoples opinions first.

Thanks

If it is council ticket, pop over to the forum on https://www.pepipoo.com , as they are the experts on council tickets.

    Take photos of the location.
I think (but I'm not sure) that the sign only applies to the side of the road which it is on.

It could be a CPZ? I got caught out by one a little while ago.

Who is the PPC? Or is it council?
If a private PPC Is it a windscreen notice or have you waited for the NTK?
We need some more information before you can be helped correctly.

As already suggested this smacks of Council and of a CPZ. PePiPoo is the place to go. Link takes you straight to the Council Parking Ticket & Clamping forum
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

If you have pictures up load them to tiny pic.com
Then post the Link here with a gap between the http:// and the rest of the link. Then one of us will link it for you.

No that link was provided if it was a Council ticket. The link you want is fisherjim's above. Which PPC?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
